Church Sign Generator

I know, everyone has probably seen it already. But I like to play with the Church Sign Generator. It lets me live out my desire to change the church signs I see everywhere. I would also like to rent a lot directly across from a church sign and erect my own sign to counter whatever dumbass saying the church sign had. Then there are the fancy churches that flaunt the fact they they have more money than they need by having the electronic marquees. I would like to see someone hack into one of those and insert random bits of truth to counter the lies usually spread by the church.Play with it, have fun, let me know what sorta cool signs you come up with. I'm also interested in seeing real photos of signs that have actually been changed. Enjoy!

Hogwarts Dancers

Harry Potter, it's huge, it's popular. Some people write fan fiction, some draw art, and then some DANCE!

Wow (spoken in a Ben Stein voice).

Breakup E-Mail

Ever have to end a relationship....badly? Here's a guy that did also. He was nice enough to share the aftermath with us. Have a laugh at her expense.

Dear Yahoo!

I don't see Yahoo ads anymore, or very many ads at all come to think of it, I have Firefox, and have equipped it to not display that commercial bullshit. This page has made me happy of that. I usually think commercials are dumb as hell, seems that this guy shares my feelings. He decided to correct things a bit. It's the sorta thing I think about doing daily, sorta like changing church signs.

GEORGE CARLIN - The Ten Commandments

Okay, this is a little bit old, but it's one of my favorite rants from George Carlin. A friend and I got to talking about the 10 commandments. I pointed out that I disagree with much of it. Carlin sums it all up quite nicely.

CLUTCH - Robot Hive/Exodus

I've been hearing a song on the radio lately that has gotten me truly intrigued. I caught a couple of the words and searched for the lyrics. I found them here. The song in question is titled 10001110101, and what intrigues me about it is this: How the fuck is it that these guys get a record contract? I am better than that on my acoustic guitar...and I SUCK! From what I can tell, the chorus is something like this: 121212212. Damn, that is brilliant, and then to name the song a different number is even more amazing. Now to be fair, I have not listened to any more tracks on this album, it is possible that there could be a good song on there...but I certainly doubt it. After listening to this gem of a single, I can guarantee I will not be purchasing any Clutch.

UPDATE: Okay, I listened to it again, and I have to admit that I was incorrect about the chorus. They do not use a two, it is in fact a one syllable zero. But even then I don't think the chorus matches the title. I'm still not buying it.

When You Absolutely, Positively Have to Get Off the Phone

Sorry Gotta Go! is a site with WAV files for you to play when you are on the phone with your mother-in-law and just can't get her to stop talking. Choose your file, play it and get a realistic sounding reason to get off the phone. You can use it more than once as there are dozens of files, so you can have a new excuse every day, at least for a while.

Bronze Pissing Statues

Here is something you don't see every day. These statues move somewhat realistically. They pee quotes in the pool. Quite creative, maybe we could get one of these to put on the lawn of the local courthouse.

Marijuana might cause new cell growth in the brain

More good news on the marijuana front. Seems that a synthetic cannabinoid has caused brain cell growth in lab rats that is similar to the growth associated with Prozac. Then again, in the same article some guy at Princeton used the real stuff on rats and didn't get the same effect. Maybe the princeton rats didn't inhale...

Nude - DPChallenge Portfolios

Here's a few pics of a naked pregnant woman. I like them, there is something very beautiful about a pregnant woman. Be sure to check out the rest of the site at DPChallenge, it's a continual online photo contest. I may play with putting some pics on there. I probably won't submit any nudes unless I get some willing models, may try to talk my wife into it.

Solar Death Ray

Did you ever burn leaves with a magnifying glass? Okay, okay, ants? Then this is something you'll love! The Solar Death Ray is a fun little project involving mirrors. Check out the things he's already toasted, give him suggestions! Enjoy!
